  • In 1965, the Bolex Reporter devoted three issues to the professional motion picture producer. The articles cover a variety of topics such as filming for industry, medicine and research, zoology, photo journalism, television commercials, underwater, school and educational films, as well as using motion pictures on a lecture circuit. The 'Technical Corner' covers techniques and ideas for film makers, and a product review lists many of the new and current Bolex cameras and accessories for professional applications. Among the new products listed are the beveled splicer, ball-joint tripod head and perfectone motor. A 400' magazine modification is mentioned as being available in Fall of 1965; two years before the REX-5 was available.
